88 Subaru's...and counting...

Sunday was our annual trip to Brighton. We love to go up every year and walk around the lake and see all the leaves that have changed colors. We always bring a picnic, with the rule that you can't buy anything...just has to be something you have in your fridge at home. That always makes for some interesting lunch combinations...such as turkey sandwiches with no mayo/mustard, because that was forgot at home. LOL
We took the enormous bus of a van, so that most of us could ride together. On the ride up, Dad and Josh entertained themselves by counting all the Subaru's we passed....a lot of them can be found in the canyons on a weekend day! :)
As we got closer, the weather got WETTER. It has never rained on Brighton Day before, so, we were ill prepared. As we pulled up to the lake, it was POURING. We were all starving and crabby by this point and almost ended up forgoing the whole thing. But, break open several picnic baskets, in a van full of people and the mood improves rather quickly! :) I wish I would have gotten better pictures of us all in there, but picture Josh, Dad, Brittney, Mom, Me, Luke, Landon, Brittenay, Cameron, Kaylana, Avery, Ryleigh and Bailey....all crowded in a 12 passenger van...passing around cantaloupe, Doritos, marshmallows, pepper jack cheese, muffins, cucumbers....kinda comical!

We always get looks when we put the boys in the stroller together. People that look fast enough think that they are twins. Especially if they hear us call them Luke and Landon (perfect twin names, don't you think?). I always chuckle to myself, at the comments that they think I don't hear.
My three daughters are growing up so darn fast.

The three prego's. We are now (in order of the picture), 16 weeks, 23 weeks and 25 weeks. Lots of important growing, going on in these bodies!

It is impossible for us all to be looking at the same camera, at the same time. :)
Next year Presley will get to experience all the colors...this year she has to be content with being rocked to sleep from my walking around the lake.

Excellent day and photos! Ya know, a good rain always makes it interesting - you have to improvise and do things you wouldn't otherwise do . . . so it's never a bad thing in my book :-)

And I just have to say, your little Avery is the cutest thing on the planet!!!

WOW - The girls are growing up quick. Bailey is so tall and Avery and Ryleigh are catching up. Little Luke still looks little. They are all adorable.

Hey... we didn't know Brittenay was pregnant again! Tell her she's in trouble for not letting Ezra and I know. Congrats though to you all!
